Information Technology Department

The Information Technology Department is responsible for building and maintaining the institution’s technological infrastructure for student learning, academic activities, and operations, advancing the University’s Mission. The Information Technology Department delivers all central technical functions for AUE with appropriate security and accessibility measures. The Information Technology Department secures and safeguards the privacy of AUE community members, including faculty, students, staff, and alumni, and protects the confidentiality and integrity of its data and information systems. The Information Technology Department also maintains the availability and consistency of institutional data and information. It has data backup and disaster recovery plans to secure data in the event of unintended deletion, disaster, or hardware or software failure. Furthermore, the Information Technology Department systematically maintains and upgrades hardware and software for educational activities and services.
