Transfer
Transfer applicants are those who have studied at another higher education institution and would like to transfer their credits to AUE. There are three stages to consider when making this type of application.

BEFORE YOU APPLY
Review the admissions requirements and the important dates and deadlines. Students seeking to transfer their credits/courses to AUE from another higher education institution must satisfy the following conditions to guarantee their previous credits are accepted at AUE:
- Provide an original or certified copy of their high school certificate or its equivalent, approved both by the relevant authority in the country where the certificate was granted and by the UAE Ministry of Education.
- Provide an official transcript of results from an accredited institution (recognised by the Ministry of Higher Education if from the UAE or by the equivalent if from an institution outside the UAE).
- Provide a copy of the course descriptions and syllabus, as published by the other institution/s.
- An application for credit transfer must be made in the student’s first semester of residence at AUE.
- Students may transfer a maximum of 50% of the required program credits.
- Official university transcripts are evaluated on a course-by-course basis.
- Only courses at the level 100 and 200 will be eligible for transfer of credit.
- Only courses with a GPA of 2.0/‘C’ or higher will be eligible for transfer of credit.
- 3 and 4 credit hours will be considered equivalent to AUE’s 3 credit hours.
- Transfer of credit will not be granted for upper level courses.
- All courses transferred to AUE must have been conducted in English.
- All students who transfer from another university should submit their official transcripts along with the course syllabus, prior to admission at AUE. No transfer of course credits will be accepted after admission at AUE.
